Why do you need so much budget? I don't mind paying for my beers. No-one is treated like a stranger.

I've been twice and each time met so many interesting people from all walks of mobile, media, and life - many of whom I've kept in touch with since, and done business with. Great fun and the best mobile get-together, period.

Re: I want, you want, we all want Swedish Beers!

Swedish Beers has been going almost as long as the mobile content industry it supports! The principal of avoiding mobile or anything industry in the title, and just getting everyone "mobile" together for a beer (Swedish or otherwise) has always been the great thing about this event. Now a Barcelona staple, MWC wouldn't be the same without it!

Re: I want, you want, we all want Swedish Beers!

I am a major fan of Swedish Beers. A good time all around with a veritable who's who in the mobile industry. Knowing the mobile world and the personalities within it as well as I do, I am fully aware that standard corporate PR doesn't hold too much stead in this area of the market. Rather you are better to try and get into the thick of it at ground level. Invariably Swedish Beers is a great opportunity to achieve this.

Nick Ris
CEO MX Telecom Australia

Re: I want, you want, we all want Swedish Beers!

Best of the mobile crowd, best of the networking & social events! Swedish Beers is an essential part of MWC and with the huge success from last year there would be many sad faces if (God forbid) should the event not happen. But I can’t think of a better event to sponsor so I’m sure that instead there will be more than 500 jolly faces in Barcelona next month!

Re: I want, you want, we all want Swedish Beers!

It's just a great event, with the chance to meet and mingle with everyone that really counts.

I hope to see you all there.

Re: I want, you want, we all want Swedish Beers!

Very good event - A list crowd, informal atmosphere.

Re: I want, you want, we all want Swedish Beers!

Swedish Beers in Barcelona is on my list of ESSENTIAL parties!

The amount of business that is carried out in the margins at events like this is huge - and it is where a lot of the 'unscheduled' meetings takes place.

One of my highlights from last year was meeting the charming and extremely capable Jasmine Aharon from Jajah - http://www.jajahdevblog.com...

I am not so sure about the 'Beer Fairy' title for Helen though - "Queen of Swedish Beer' would be better!

Re: I want, you want, we all want Swedish Beers!

Swedish Beers is a great networking event: a really switched on crowd that cuts across the mobile industry. Everybody's friendly and up for a chat, making it much more relaxed -- and much more effective, IMO -- than many other similar events.

Re: I want, you want, we all want Swedish Beers!

Swedish Beers Rock

Re: I want, you want, we all want Swedish Beers!

Swedish Beers reads like a who's who of the mobile industry but strips out all of the pompous ceremony that often accompanies similar events. Instead, it's a really easy way to network with people passionate about mobile.

The atmosphere is relaxed, informal and a great way to meet new people.
